For a team that has never had more than four wins in a season, the Keane Fire must finally be focused on the league's championship trophy.
Captain Harvey Snelgrove has put together a team that, on paper, is truly remarkable. The Fire team has an amazing five out of the top seven all-time leading scorers, and that does not even include Rob Tyrrell, who is fourth all-time when it comes to points per game. The Fire team also has seven players who have at one time worked for Keane, more than any other team in the league. Snelgrove is hoping that chemistry will be a strength with his team as a result.
Even with Kenzie Royal on the disabled list with an early season injury, the Fire look to be formidable after an 18-4 thrashing of the Slayers in their second game in 2003A.
