MacMillan Sidelined For Season Opener

Team GM Richard MacMillan will be unable to start in goal for the Lite-Sabres' season opener on Thursday night due to what the team is calling "prior commitments". In place of MacMillan may be untested backup Ryan MacDonald or third-string goaltender Chris McMaster.
MacMillan played in three regular season games and two playoff games for the Lite-Sabres last season. His combined record is 3-2 and is the only goalie to record a win against league champions LAN Hackers.
