Hackers GM John Dulong took the first steps towards defense of their league championship Tuesday by securing two of the leagues top prospects. Highly touted rookies Randall Leard and Greg Foran will be joining a Hacker team already laden with talent. Foran may be the riskier of the two prospects due to his injury-plagued minor-league career.
However, the Hackers had to pay a price in the entry draft to acquire these prospects. Gone from last year's championship team is the duo who was considered the heart and soul of last year's squad: Don Abbott and Tim Sawlor. Both will be suiting up as Sunnydale Slayers this year.
