This is Billy Concarney here with a warm welcome to all players who have decided to jump into our league this season.

We have a multitude of rookies and we are thankful to have you with us.

Last night saw the draft take place at The Fish Bowl at the PRCC. Besides some fool taking a running jump body slam into the glass, it was uneventful… ;)

Teams are posted and schedule is as well. 

Your captain will fill you in on any particulars. The “Rules” section will give you an overview of expectations and all that jazz. Please take some time to read them…and newbie should take note of our “windmill rule” designed to try and keep sticks down.

A couple of things to remember…

This is a league, but it’s meant to be fun. Stay in control of you mouth, your stick and your temper please. If you can’t, I have a pretty good track record of giving a helping hand in those departments lol.

Changing that involves exposing others to your under garments or less is to be done in the designated change area, inside the stalls in the men’s washroom, or in the equipment room in the back of the gym. No exceptions.

Also, we are guests in a family friendly and oriented facility. Use appropriate language and behaviour please…little ears and eyes are always watching.

Lastly, if you have issues, you come to Marty please. He is the man. He is always open to listening to suggestions and if there are problems on the court please let him deal with it.

We appreciate you all and hope that everyone has a great season filled with fun, competitive and healthy play and banter…and no penalties! Ha!
