This is Billy Concarney here with a short burst here on what happened last night.

I’m running the roads and time is a premium so forgive my lack of descriptive jargon.

First of all everyone was very well behaved tonight so that was a bonus. The league brass were very happy with that so thank you.

Game 1 Hackers vs Sabres

Hackers came out with 4 unanswered goals. The Sabres came back with 4 of their own. But the Hackers led by Sammy Halliburton screamed back with 3 unanswered goals and walked away with a win.

game 2 slayers vs Lynx 

Slayers coming off a championship run were up against rookie captain Sam Whidden and crew.

Lynx tallied first and the Slayers answered back. They traded one more each followed by a Lynx lead taking goal. Slayers rattled off 4 in a row. Looked like an easy win..not…lynx rattled off 4 in a row and took the lead back.

They each traded goals and when this was done the fat lady sang 8-7 for the Lynx. 

Game 3 Fire vs Chill

Well, first of all thanks to Kevin Kennedy for jumping in to fill a void.

Rob Tyrrell was back at the helm of a team after a long hiatus. Looks like he got himself a nice offensive team. Well, Bob Strum found them offensive…and his own D men as well… can someone get the Vic’s?.. cough cough cough

Fire roasted the Chill 11-4. Congrats to Logan Jeddry who grabbed 6 goals and 2 helpers to take this weeks HFHL Player of The Week.

Way to go Logan.
